Marsha Buford
8th District CommissionerReverend Marsha Buford is the Founder and Pastor of The House of Favor Full Gospel Ministries, Inc., where she has served in ministry leadership for the past 19 years. From 2010 to 2023, she also worked as a Job Coach with the Family Restoration Network’s Workforce Development Program. She currently teaches the Fatherhood Program at the Smith Transitional Center in Claxton, Georgia.
Reverend Buford is actively engaged in community service and serves on boards and advisory committees. Her roles include serving as the Enforcement Chaplain and Volunteer Female Inmate Chaplain with the Chatham County Sheriff's Office.
She is the eldest of seven siblings, a mother of two, grandmother of eight, and great-grandmother of seven. She is also widely recognized as a spiritual mentor, educator, leader, and trusted supporter to many in the community.
